There wasn't enough happiness in this anthology for my liking, nevertheless, I do recommend it for finding new black authors to read from.

Book Review: “All American Boys” by Jason Reynolds and Brendan Kiely

While other police brutality centered novels concentrate on bringing justice for the deaths of unarmed African-Americans, "All American Boys" analyzes the immediate aftermath of a police officer showing excessive force from the perspectives of both the victim and the bystander.
